Aspect Ratio of Gallery Images different from Rollover

How do I make the aspect ratio of my photos the same as the aspect ratio of the background when you rollover in my gallery. I’ve attached a cropped screenshot as a reference. I can’t seem to figure out how to correct, other than changing to a fixed height (works in some instances) versus 100%.
