    Is it possible to add an additional social media icon to the widget? I need to add a tumblr icon.

    Yes it is possible, Tumblr icon is available in the fusion-icons bundle –
    http://support.livemeshthemes.com/wp-content/uploads/fusion-icons/demo.html , basically you need to modify the file framework/shortcodes/social-shortcodes.php to include the tumblr social media.
