There are no specific instructions as such. Pls preserve any changes you made to the theme files and redo the same. If you enable responsive layout, pls choose Flexslider option in options panel to see sliders coming up on mobile devices and tablets. Other sliders like Nivo slider will show up fine on devices without resolution 1024px768px and above resolution but will not display on smaller devices (like Smartphones and Kindle Fire/Nexus 7). iPad should be fine.
